Youth Forum and Bible Study (grades 9-12) Meets weekly on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in the Youth Room. Provides fellowship and discussion relating scripture to life concerns for high school students. The curriculum includes the meaning and experiences of the Christian faith as found in the Bible, in history, and in our encounter with people and contemporary society.
Senior High Fellowship (grades 9-12) Meets on Sunday evenings or during the week (as announced), for special projects, activities, fund-raising, fellowship and discussion. Youth are encouraged to participate in local outreach projects and go on an annual youth mission trip, usually a week-long visit to help others and grow in their faith while learning more about the difficulties some have in surviving.
Middle School Class and Fellowship (usually grades 7&8) Meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for Bible study and discussion that relates our Christian faith to our lives; they often use Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. They are also involved in monthly service projects and fellowship activities. (Meet in the Basement Youth Room). Seekers Class for Confirmation/Baptism is offered every year to middle school youth desiring to make this journey. Youth may decide to join the church after completing this two-year course as 8th or 9th graders. Seekers meet Sunday evenings twice a month (for part of the year) with the pastor and other leaders. This group usually attends a Nightwatch program at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
Youth Choir/Handbell Choir (grades 7-12) Meets Sunday mornings, 8:50 - 9:30 a.m., plays regularly in worship and for outreach events.
Youth Alive! An ecumenical ministry sponsored by six churches in the Fayetteville-Manlius area. Youth from the member congregations join together for special programs, the CROP Walk, mission projects, and educational trips. We also relate to the Presbytery Youth Connection and American Baptist Youth for special activities.
