Welcome to United Church!
We gather to celebrate God's presence in our lives through the gifts we share as God's people, on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We are a worshiping, learning, caring community. Our bi-denominational tradition and belief that all people are one in the family of God, make us an open and welcoming church. We invite people of all races and backgrounds to share with us in experiences that will unleash the God-given potential of our lives.
Our Sunday worship is multi-generational, music-filled, and broadly participatory; and it is led by both clergy and lay leaders. Children are encouraged to worship with us. Through preaching, prayer and our life together, we encourage people to think creatively about their faith and to live responsibly in the real world.
UCF has a long history of education and mission, particularly with regard to hunger and housing ministries, refugee resettlement and social responsibility. Our worship, Sunday School, Bible study, Youth and Adult Forums and small groups focus on providing continuing education programs that encourage and inspire intellectual curiosity and spiritual growth that lend support to social justice issues and mission endeavors.
