Many people are looking for richer spiritual lives, without being certain where or how to start. Lent is an opportunity for our community of faith to consider and explore our faith lives, taking on new practices, shedding old habits and reshaping our lives according to Jesus’ model. Such lives don’t just happen, but are the result of seeking and trying, waiting and watching, discipline and flexibility. UCF provides many opportunities for spiritual growth during Lent and Eastertide. Like most things worth having, a richer spiritual life doesn’t come to us; rather but God’s spirit invites us ever closer, if we would respond. Jesus said, “seek and ye shall find.” Let us each actively seek the lives we desire.
