There is a place for you in our
Community of Faith!
The congregation and staff of
The United Church of Fayetteville extend
to you the warmest of welcomes. We invite you to find your church home
in our midst.
The
best way to get to know our church is to join us for Sunday worship and
fellowship. We also invite you to join any programs and service
opportunities available. You will find more information on this
website. If you would like to talk with the pastor or an elder, please
call the church office. We look forward to welcoming you in person.

About United Church
We
are a gathering of people who believe God loves and accepts every person,
and we, in turn, are called to be God's love in the world. We welcome all
persons regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual
orientation or differing abilities, and seek to include everyone in all
aspects of the life and leadership of United Church.
In 1933, the Presbyterian and American
Baptist congregations of Fayetteville united to become a single congregation, while
maintaining ties with both denominations. We are one people under God,
with the diversity of gifts and thinking that such a union produces.
For over half a century we have tried to be a living example of Jesus'
wish in his prayer, "May they be one, so that the world will believe
that you sent me." (John 17:21)
